The Best Poem Of Christopher White
Everyday I Fall Into The Shadows
Fragile legs,
Like bambi.
Champagnes strong
And I'm not.
My dress is torn,
My hearts broken.
Now I
Softly step
Through the streets.
Weak and tired,
Lost and unloved.
Heading home, alone,
Again, alone.
But
I smiled at him,
He laughed at me.
Danced for hours
Without you.
Silence was familiar
In that crowded room.
Thinking
What did I do?
What do I do?
No one to love
Nothing left to hold.
One hour alone
Would have changed my mind,
But
The bridge ahead,
I wave goodbye.
I step across,
The final line.
My hair is wet,
My bodys cold.
Can't breathe
Dont want to.

THE STORY OF CHRIS WHITE
Chris White has always written poems and scribbled drawings since he was an ickle boy. He did it just for fun and because he enjoyed it. Little did he know that many years later, after he had turned into a man-sized human, that he would become a globe-trotting published poet!
It was in the year that Chris was lucky enough to have his first collection of poems published. It was called Bitey the Veggie Vampire, and since then he hasnt looked back. Many other books of poetry, stories and scribbles have been published since that day. But that is only one part of the story, as Chris was asked to perform at a few book festivals to promote his debut book. Never having read his poems to an audience before, Chris was very nervous but he did his bestand it all turned out ok. Phew!
So, off he went onto the long and winding road of his poetry performing travels. Travels that have taken him all around the UK, visiting theatres, schools, libraries, festivalsand even a prison or two! (Dont worry, they let him out again)
After having been up and down England, Scotland Wales and Ireland performing to anybody that would listen,
