This book discussing stories from the life of Hadhrat Umar was
originally compiled in Arabic by Sheikh Muhammad Siddeeq Minshawi.
The book included a hundred interesting incidents in the life of Hadhrat
Abu Bakr , which offer guidance for numerous aspects of daily life. The
unique feature of the stories of the pious predecessors is that it not

renews the spirit to engage in so many good deeds such as giving
Sadaqah, abstinence, Ibaadah, self reformation and so much more.

He was raised as a cloth merchant and had slight difficulty in his hearing. This did not stop him, however, from becoming one of the greatest scholars of his time. He had great depth when it came to the various branches of Din and was renowned for his exceptional skill of interpreting dreams.
Amongst his esteemed teachers were the likes of: Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah, Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Abbas, Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhum) and others.
His students comprised of great ‘Ulama such as ‘Allamahs: Ayyub As-Sakhtiyani, Qatadah, Sa’id ibn Abi ‘Arubah and others (rahimahumullah).

Abu Bakr was an exemplary soldier on the battlefield; upon the Prophetâs death, Abu Bakr (R) remained steadfast and, through the help of Allah, held this nation together.
When others suggested keeping Usaamahâs army back, Abu Bakr insisted â and correctly so â that the army should continue the mission which the Prophet (S) had in mind.
When people refused to pay Zakaat, and when the apostates threatened the stability of the Muslim nation, Abu Bakr was the one who remained firm and took decisive action against them.
These are just some of the examples of Abu Bakrâs many wonderful achievements throughout his life.
I have endeavored to describe all of the above in a clear and organized manner. But more so than anything else,
I have tried to show how Abu Bakrâs methodology as a Muslim and as a ruler helped establish the foundations of a strong, stable, and prosperous country â one that began in Al-Madeenah, extended throughout the Arabian Peninsula, and then reached far-off lands outside of Arabia.
Throughout the brief period of his
